Morning & Evening is a devotional book covering the time of Easter in the Church year. The recommended readings come from the Daily Lectionary which can be found in the Lutheran Service Book. It assumed you would read one reading in the morning and one in the evening. It is set up to read the Old Testament lesson in the morning and the New Testament lesson in the evening. If you are using my other book Pray Unceasingly, you may want to use the longer reading for the chapter reading.
