This book is a collection of illustrations of Irish Fairy Tales. They are romantic and dramatic images, capturing the spirit of the fairy tales they were designed to illustrate. In this edition, the pages are single-sided so colors will not bleed through to another page. Because the images were created from illustrations, they are not typical coloring book pictures with simple outlines to be filled-in. Many of the pictures include a considerable number of gray or black areas which cannot be easily colored. The images are artistic and imaginative, and allow for coloring of some portions of each selection.
